API Management

Leverage the power of Java, Quarkus, Apache Camel and Azure to unify address verification across FedEx, USPS, PCMiler and UPS. Our Open API-driven solution offers secure, token-based integrations via dedicated System APIs and a centralized Process API that intelligently routes and prioritizes responses. Enhance accuracy, reduce delivery failures and scale efficiently with this robust, cloud-ready architecture.

Problem

Statement

Our client currently depends on multiple external vendors FedEx, USPS, PCMiler and UPS for address validation and delivery route services. However, there is no centralized or standardized mechanism to access these services efficiently. This results in operational inefficiencies, inconsistent address data and potential delivery delays due to fragmented or incomplete validation processes.

EBS Item-Vendor

Solution

Proposed

The proposed architecture introduces a dedicated System API for each service provider (FedEx, USPS, PCMiler and UPS), which encapsulates the specific integration and security requirements of each vendor. These System APIs handle token-based authentication and vendor-specific logic. On top of them, a single Process API orchestrates the interaction by routing requests to the appropriate provider(s) in a defined sequence. It supports sequential calls to the listed service providers, selecting the first successful response to ensure address accuracy and reduce latency.
